Hi, I’m Marisa — the founder of Cuddles Pet Brand. I started this small business in Baytown, Texas with my mini schnauzer, Sienna, by my side. She’s been my best friend through everything after high school and those early, messy days of figuring out life. And honestly, she’s the reason this brand exists.
What began as baking for her turned into something more. I realized that when we reward our dogs — for learning something new, for being patient, or just for being cute — they deserve something real. Not filler. Not mystery ingredients. That’s what pushed me to focus on clean recipes made with real fruit and simple proteins. Because the goodest dogs deserve the good stuff.
Since then, our little pack has grown. We adopted Selene — a sweet rescue pup who fit right into the chaos — and we’ve got two cats who keep us on our toes. It’s a full house, but they all remind me daily why I do this.
Today, Cuddles offers a small but intentional line of treats and pet care — from our fruit-forward bones and single-ingredient jerky, to seasonal iced cookies and wellness goodies. We even have our Pawndería collection — a cultural line inspired by the pan dulce we grew up with, reimagined as cute and clean treats for pups.
We’re proudly woman-owned, community-based, and rooted in Baytown. You can find us at local markets, in small shops, or making birthday cakes for the pups in the neighborhood. Everything is made in small batches, with ingredients you can recognize, and lots of love — for the moments that matter most.
